Birchall Assam Loose Leaf Tea 1kg

Your 30%-ish discount persuaded me to try a kilo of this assam as a wee contrast to our normal gargling tea (Yorkshire red-label). Broader leaf and slower to brew, lighter colour and more delicate flavour but me and son Duncan agree that it makes a welcome refreshing pot any time of the day... it doesn't seem to 'stew', the flavour was still good on my third mug this morning.
I would buy again with the discount, but probably not at full price (sorry!).

Tried Birchalls Assam in my last order after they sent me an offer for Birchalls tea.
I normally buy the Taylors Assam but I gave this a try. As with the other Birchalls tea I bought, I find the tea lacking in flavour to be perfectly honest. It's just average tea, and has nothing special for me to buy this brand again. The sealable bags are probably the best thing about this tea.
